As the owner of Ivy Health Surgery it is a very important part of my job to understand each step my clients go through before their procedure.
For breast surgery, whether it’s for enlargement or reduction, being able to chat to your surgeon before the procedure and express what you would like to achieve by having surgery is very important. To understand this fully I went along and had a full consultation with Dr Justan at the SurGal Clinic.
He sat me down asked me what I personally wanted from the surgery, he explained fully how the surgery works, what it involves and the best way he could achieve this to give me the end result I was looking for.
There are various sizes and shapes to choose from; the traditional round shape or anatomical shape for a more natural look. By examining me he knew which size would suit my frame and what was achievable. Once we had agreed on this I was given a garment to put on with the implants placed in so I could see the way they looked and also got to feel the difference between them.
Dr Justan was very thorough and listened carefully. Clients have always praised him on his lovely bedside manor and I have to agree from the initial feeling nervous to leaving his consultation room feeling happy. We have discussed my return but that’s another story to watch out for!!! Laura
