I was introduced to Laura at Ivy health via a friends successful procedure. It was great to know there was a single contact point, Laura, who has a wealth of experience.
Given my surgery was carried out in the midst of a global pandemic – the journey from beginning to end was slick and much easier than I anticipated. Obviously there were a few hurdles due to mandatory PCR testing and quarantine, however these are extremely minor, given everything else is super smooth.
Even after my first initial chat with Laura I was at ease that there was commitment in providing that extra level of care you do not always get from other providers. It was clear she had years of experience and was able to cater the perfect surgical option for me.
The initial process of assessment for eligibility is smooth and even after some bumps in the road (due to previous surgery) nothing was too much trouble in getting to the final result.
Laura was great from start to finish, from flight finding to explaining the process on arrival as-well as sorting the private transfer to and from the accommodation.
The surgery took place at SurGal clinic in Czech Republic. You can tell the clinic is “award-winning” given its warm welcome on arrival. The rooms themselves are extremely comfortable and “home from home”, more like a hotel than a hospital, which puts your right at ease. Laura had briefed me on what to expect at the hospital so I was fully prepped for arrival – and it was as expected. They offered a 5* service from arrival to departure.
After arriving home, post op, Laura as always was prompt in contacting me to see how I was doing.
Laura is attentive and reassuring throughout with her patients best interests at heart at all times. If any issues or concerns raised that she cannot answer she would happily liaise with the clinic or surgeons on my behalf, with no hesitation.
Anyone looking for weight loss or cosmetic surgery, should consider using Laura at Ivy Health and I would 100% recommend they do so. If you want to ensure peace of mind and a worry free journey throughout then Ivy Health most certainly offer that. The whole process is so organised and has a personal feeling throughout. Their costs are great in comparison to U.K. procedure and the care standard, in my opinion is much greater. If in the future there is a need for myself to undergo additional surgery, I would most definitely contact Laura in the first instance.
